Charlene has moved from Ontario back to PEI after many years of being away. Her creativeness has taken many forms and outlets throughout her life. She thrives on taking many paths in her creative journey from pottery, wood working, Victorian flower arranging to fabrication of jewelry. She started painting in oils at a very early age and progressed onto acrylics.
About 28 years ago she decided to get back to painting with a medium she had never worked with before, water colours. It has proven to be a very challenging medium but it has become her passion. She is mainly a realist with her water colours but she enjoys exploring other mediums in abstract form. She paints from photos she has taken of events or things that have resonated within her.
