I am a former woodworker (lathe work and custom furniture) and currently a grower, seller and hybridizer of Daylilies. Beadweaving has elements of both.

 

I stumbled upon off-loom beadweaving in 2011. And now there is barely time to sleep. The colour, the finishes, the way the light affects each bead.... But it's the colour and light of seed beads that has me in its thrall.

 

Living near the back of beyond, I learned through library books, YouTube videos, magazines and the many sellers on Etsy, their blogs and tutorials. Wherever the beads go I will follow and hopefully join other travelers on the way.
